Brown asks Ohio Veterans to Share What Questions They Want VA Experts to Answer at Columbus Hearing

U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that he is bringing the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs to Ohio. Brown will have top VA officials at the hearing to hear directly from Ohio veterans on the state of VA services in Ohio.

Ahead of the hearing, Brown is soliciting stories and input from Ohio veterans on the questions they would like VA officials and the Senate committee to address. Ohio veterans can visit Brown’s website to share their questions here:

“Ohio veterans served their nation honorably, and they deserve the highest quality of support in return,” said Brown. “By hearing from veterans in their own communities, the Committee can better understand what is working well and what challenges still confront our veterans today.”

Brown is the longest serving Ohio Senator on the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. Earlier this year, President Trump signed Brown’s bipartisan legislation to improve education benefits for student veterans into law.

The Senate Committee on Veterans' Affairs will be held on Tuesday, November 21st, at 1:15 PM at the Columbus Metropolitan Library in the Main Auditorium. The address is 96 South Grant Ave. in Columbus, OH.
