AMVETS Posts reopen as Gov. DeWine lifts restrictions
AMVETS Posts are opening back up dependent on that post's status. Below are some post openings that have been announced by some of our posts.
AMVETS Post 21 in Findlay will open on June 1.
AMVETS Post 24 in Dayton opened their patio on May 15 for outside seating only. Social distancing practices will be in place. Please be considerate and abide by the rules. There will be hand sanitizer available at the door and service station.
AMVETS Post 39 in Lakeview will open on May 22. They will have wipes and hand sanitizers throughout the club.
AMVETS Post 44 opened their outside deck on May 15. On May 21, the Post will open regular hours inside with limited seating available.
AMVETS Post 89 in Columbus is now open from 2 -10 p.m. daily.
AMVETS Post 102 in Delaware will open on Saturday, May 30 from 5 - 9 pm. Food available from 5 - 7 pm - Eat in or take out. 50 / 50 drawing. Patio seating available. Please note: We are required to make a few adjustments in our service to comply with state and local Health Dept. guidelines. Details of ongoing plans to sustain our business will be shared.
AMVETS Post 148 in Medway has opened their patio and the canteen will open on May 21.
AMVETS Post 711 in Bowling Green will reopen on June 1.
AMVETS Post 1776 in Logan opened May 15 for their outdoor pavilion only..weather permitting noon to 8pm.
AMVETS Post 1789 in Brookville reopened May 15 with open air service. Indoor service will begin on May 21.

AMVETS Post 1985 in Lancaster is opening May 21 at 8 am. Activities such as pool, darts etc will not be permitted. All lottery and other games are also not permitted.
AMVETS Post 1991 in Defiance opened their patio on May 15. Open 10:30-8pmThey are open for dining. Phone orders for carry out at 419-784-2356.
AMVETS Post 1994 in Kenton will open May 21.
AMVETS Post 2003 in Kettering will be open for business on May 21 at 11am. The new patio will also be open. New rules and state restrictions will be posted for all to read. The Post will be open regular hours of operation. Due to state restrictions, all dinners have been cancelled until further notice.

I wish to thank you on behalf of all veterans who have served, and are serving, for the very thoughtful words. It is the mark of a true leader who can define the meaning of a sacred holiday, such as Memorial Day. The message received was very poignant.
