AMVETS supports Second Call of Duty program
First Vice Commander Sara E McIntyre-Pierce spoke about AMVETS' commitment to Secretary of State Frank LaRose's Second Call of Duty program aimed at recruiting veterans as poll workers to ensure a successful Presidential Election at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum in Columbus this afternoon. Her speech can be seen halfway through this video. Second Call of Duty is an awareness campaign to recruit poll workers for the upcoming Presidential Election in November. AMVETS members are encouraged to apply to be poll workers as the need is great. Poll workers are essential to the success of the election as not all voters will be voting during the early voting period or by absentee ballot.
