Brookville AMVETS Post 1789 Hosts Dayton Army Recruiting Company for Annual Organization Day
Brookville AMVETS Post 1789 was honored to host Dayton's U.S. Army Recruiting Company's Annual Organization Day on Saturday, June 27, 2015.
Between 34 active duty soldiers and their families, the post held 130 guests for the event. Activities included volleyball, horseshoes, and games for the children. A grill party, including chicken, bratwurst, burgers, hot dogs, and side dishes, was served to all.
The Dayton Army Recruiting Company serves 19 High Schools, 2 Career Technology Centers, and 2 Colleges, and staffs 6 offices in the area for their recruiting efforts.
