Location: The Horseshoe Tournament is being held at the campgrounds on Post 1776 property.

​

Rules:

1.    This is a non-sanctioned two (2) person team tournament, where all points count (no handicap).

2.    This tournament is open to AMVETS, Auxiliary, Sons of AMVETS, Junior AMVETS and AMVETS Riders in good standing.

3.    Teams will pitch no less than six (6) games throughout the tournament. A one-game, 50 shoes per person, per team, will qualify teams per class (Qualifier Round). A five-game round will follow (Main Event Round). Total points from both rounds will determine over-all standings per class.

4.    Entry fee for this tournament is $24 per team. Registration will open Saturday morning at 0900 hours, the morning of the tournament. There will be no early registrations this year.

Breakfast: Will be available at the Post Saturday, from 0700-1000 hours.

Schedule:

0900-1130 hours - Registration

1140 - 1150 hours - Opening Ceremonies

1150-1330 hours . - Qualifying Round (Lunch will be available from 1100-1300)

1345-1800 hours   - Main Event Round

1800-2000 hours   - Dinner

2000 hours - ? - Entertainment

Camping:

Everyone is welcome to come on down to camp and enjoy the weekend with their fellow AMVETS!  There is NO COST to campout at the Post (primitive camping only). Motorized campers must camp outside of the beer garden area; tents may camp in the beer garden area.  Sites are first come, first serve!!

Directions to Post #1776:
From the East or West: Take 1-70 toward Columbus. Exit to 1270 South. Take exit to US 33 South. Exit onto US 328 East. Tum Left at Front Street (1st traffic light). Tum left on Radio Lane, Post is at the end on the right.
