New AMVETS DSO set to help Cleveland area veterans

AMVETS Department of Ohio is pleased to announce the installment of its newest Department Service Officer, Terry Carpenter, at the Wade Park Campus of the Louis B. Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center.

AMVETS Department Service Officers assist with Decision Ready Claims, Fully Developed Claims, reconsiderations, appeals, Aid & Attendance, Individual Unemployability, Voc Rehab referrals and more.

Carpenter brings 33 years of military service with the US. Army to AMVETS.

Carpenter served on active duty and in the National Guard in various capacities to include as a helicopter mechanic, a supply sergeant, a training NCO, a recruiter and a first sergeant, retiring with the rank of 1SG/E-8.

Carpenter will be located at Room #1B-411 on the ground floor of the Wade Park VA at 10701 East Blvd. Cleveland, Ohio 44106. His office hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday - Friday.
