State Horseshoe Rules 

1. This Tournament is an AMVETS Tournament and is open to AMVETS, Auxiliary, Son’s of AMVETS, and Junior AMVETS, all in good standing only.
2. This is a non-sanctioned tournament, 2 person team even, with no handicap and different classes.
3. Entry fees and entry deadlines are determined by the hosting post.
4. The minimum number of pits you must have to host a state event is twelve (12) and the minimum number of pits for hosting a district event may be set by the district.
5. Tournament Format:
   1. One game, 50 shoe per person qualifying round
   2. Five (5) game regular main event round
   3. Points from both qualifier and main event rounds will determine total points for the tournament. All points count.
