Devised by Pro Lionel Callaway, this system of one-day handicapping allows the player to subtract his score on his worst hole or holes, depending on the amount of his gross score. “Worst Hole” means the hole on which the player posted his highest score. The system works as follows:

1 over to 75 ˝ worst hole
76 to 80 Worst Hole
81 to 85 Worst Hole plus ˝ next worst hole
86 to 90 Two (2) worst holes
91 to 95 Two (2) worst holes plus ˝ next worst hole
96 to 100 Three (3) worst holes
101 to 105 Three (3) worst holes plus ˝ next worst hole
106 to 110 Four (4) worst holes
111 to 115 Four (4) worst holes plus ˝ next worst hole
115 to 120 Five (5) worst holes
121 to 125 Five (5) worst holes plus ˝ next worst hole
126 to 130 Six (6) worst holes
131 to 135 Six (6) worst holes plus ˝ next worst hole
136 to 140 Seven (7) worst holes
141 to 145 Seven (7) worst holes plus ˝ next worst hole
146 to 150 Eight (8) worst holes
